Free Initial Consultation

Complete the Research Request Form, define a focused research goal and provide as much previous research and background information as possible.

Research Agreement

Once the scope, research time and fees are agreed upon, an Engagement Agreement describes the project before work begins.

Research & Analysis

A reasonably exhaustive search is conducted using relevant sources. Evidence is analyzed and sources are cited fully and accurately.

Final Report

A written report details findings, conclusions, methodology and recommendations for further research.

Project Terms

  • An Engagement Agreement is issued after goals, tasks, research time and fees are agreed upon.
  • Out-of-pocket expenses such as copies, records, repository fees, postage or travel are discussed and authorized in advance when applicable.
  • Clients receive an itemized invoice at the completion of the project.
  • Final reports are provided after completion of the project and payment according to the Engagement Agreement.
  • No research outcome can be guaranteed, but commissioned projects are approached methodically using the relevant resources available.
